About Me

Does this website look familiar? Well, you guessed it, Tumblr. Creating this portfolio really brought me back to the nostalgic summer of 2013 when my biggest problem was picking the right theme for my Tumblr page. I was copying and pasting HTML to curate the coolest theme of mustaches and was frustrated when certain elements were not aligning. I had mustaches for my background, a mustache cursor, mustache animations, and an infinite music player. I think I kind of liked mustaches back then, not sure though. But now, I can code Tumblr myself!

I love problem-solving and challenging myself which is why I enjoy coding and attained a Bachelor of Science degree concentrated in Biochemistry. I also have extensive interpersonal communication and customer service experience through my previous occupations as a behavorial interventionist for autistic children and a hostess. My completion of a 6-month coding bootcamp, App Academy, has enhanced my abilites to learn quickly and effiencently. App Academy and my research position under a Dr.Peng Sun from Cal Poly Pomona moreover have strengthened my collaboration skills through peer reviewing and presenting experiments.

Besides coding, I spend my free time painting, reading, making friendship bracelets, ceramics, and listening to music. I especially love finding new music or revisting forgotten songs. My favorite artist is Frank Ocean, and I wish he would release new music. I also love traveling! My favorite place to visit would be New York!
